The 2nd Award and Orientation Ceremony of the GDC Scholarship Programme was successfully held at the Accra College of Education Conference Hall on 22nd March 2026. The event brought together distinguished guests, education stakeholders, beneficiaries and well-wishers to celebrate academic excellence and support for aspiring students.
The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the GDC Scholarship Programme, as it recognized and awarded deserving students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance, commitment and potential. In addition to the awards presentation, the event also served as an orientation session, where new beneficiaries were introduced to the objectives, expectations and opportunities that come with being part of the scholarship programme.
Attendees were inspired by insightful speeches from guest speakers, who emphasized the importance of education, discipline and personal development. The atmosphere was filled with pride, motivation and hope, as students were encouraged to make the most of this life-changing opportunity.
Overall, the event was a remarkable success, reinforcing GDC’s commitment to empowering young minds and contributing to the development of education in Ghana.
In line with our unwavering commitment to advancing public health, the CPPA team delivered impactful education on the safe and rational use of medicines. Participants received guidance on medication adherence, the dangers of misuse, and the critical need to seek professional advice from pharmacists. Beyond education, our team conducted a comprehensive health outreach—dispensing essential medications and offering individualized pharmaceutical care to all who visited our stand.
The outreach recorded an impressive turnout, attracting dignitaries from the Gadangme Traditional Council, notable chiefs, and enthusiastic students from basic, secondary, and tertiary institutions. The atmosphere remained lively and highly engaging throughout, underscoring a strong communal interest in health and wellness.
The event was graced and officially charged by Hon. Ayikio Otoo, whose presence elevated the significance of the day’s activities. Media representatives were also in attendance, ensuring broad visibility, and the CPPA received due acknowledgment for its vital role and support.
The CPPA remains deeply committed to empowering communities, promoting responsible healthcare practices, and contributing to the well-being of the Gadangme people and the nation as a whole. Our passion for service continues to inspire our work—today, and always.
