The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the GDC Scholarship Programme, as it recognized and awarded deserving students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance, commitment and potential.
The occasion which was well aended by GaDangmes from all walks of life showcased GaDangme cultural dances, poetry and art.

The Go Dongme Council has leant with shock and dismay the offock on the elders of The Nii Odoi Kwao Family of Osu who are the ollodial owners of Nimen (conupted as Nima) lands.
The meeting started at 10:50 a.m. with a welcome address by Ayaa Kojo Armah (1st Vice President, GDC). All present gave a brief introduction of themselves which paved the way for the purpose of gathering endorsement.
Offices and shops in the Central Business District in the Greater Accra Region are expected to close down for three days to make way for the final funeral rights of the late Ga Manye, the Paramount Queen of Ga State, HRM Naa Dedei Omaedru III.
